OUR STORY
We love pickleball so much we just had to share it! It is an old sport with a modern feel and gives you all the tennis vibes without all the running, and let’s be honest- who wants to run? In all seriousness, we wanted to bring something to our area that cultivated a fun and laughter-filled environment where cocktails and sport create a perfect symphony of experiences.
We are committed to being a facility where all are welcome. We want our members and non-members not only to learn pickleball, but to be a place where all can come to unwind and remember to enjoy life with family and friends. We will strive to build a community of families that can come together to play, even though we are from various backgrounds. We desire to have a positive impact on our community while providing a place for all ages to congregate. Our goal is to reach adults, young students, high school students, homeschoolers, veterans, and those with special needs.
LIFE IS A GAME OF PICKLEBALL...
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements from badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It has rapidly gained popularity across various age groups due to its accessibility and ease of learning. The game is played either as singles or doubles, similar to tennis, on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over the net.
The rules of pickleball are straightforward, making it an engaging sport for beginners while still offering strategic depth for experienced players. The serving team must serve the ball underhand, and the ball must bounce once before being returned. This unique bounce rule, also applied to the serve return, encourages longer rallies and strategic placement of shots. Scoring in pickleball is to 11, 15, or 21 points, with the winning team needing to lead by at least two points.
